Don't you find the Bible boring?

Atheist: I’m not questioning the bible in any way in this thread, other than as a piece of writing. I find it very boring to read. So, as a Christian, although it’s important to you, do you honestly find it a “good read”?  I imagine it’s like reading statutes or laws. They are important, but so dull.
